Adi Burgess

A graduate of the College of Country Music Adi has worked with industry pro’s like Rod Coe,  Dobe Newton Allan Caswell, Denise Morrison and Garth Porter.

In 2011 Adi travelled to Nashville upon invitation to co-write her first album “Golden Cage” with Rob Mackay and Michael Flanders of Pacific International Music. The first single ‘Guilty’ pre-released from the album in 2011 won an International Music Award winning ‘Favorite New Country Artist’ at the Independent Music Network Awards, the video clip also appears on Country Music Television (CMC Foxtel).

In July 2012 the album was released and the second single “That’s What love Will Getcha” charted nationally and entered the Australian Country Top 30 tracks. 
A new film clip was produced by 50DMC which Adi won with support from her fans in a competition.

Now published by Meat Pie Music her song “Its Over” was placed in the top 5% in the international Song Of The Year competition 2012 and Adi received the recommended Artist title.

Adi was a finalist for QLD Best Female Artist at the Tamworth Gold Medallion Awards and also was a finalist in 2012 Music Oz Awards.

2012 also saw Adi perform at music festivals including the Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth and also performed internationally at the Forsythe Barr Stadium in New Zealand for the International Rodeo.

Distribution with WJO and Checked Entertainment the album Golden Cage is now available in stores and on itunes.

2013 will see Adi is booked to perform again at music festivals in Australia and a return to New Zealand where Adi was invited to tour on a showcase for 10 days.

Described by some of the industries greatest as emotive, powerful and unique, her recent performance on The Voice evoked a standing ovation from the audience with hugs from Seal and comments like ‘beautiful voice’, and from Delta Goodrum saying ‘you are doing what you are meant to be doing’.
