When is the Mountview Music Muster?

Where is the Mountview Music Muster held?

The muster is located at Mountview Wines, Emu Swamp Road, Glen Aplin - (between Stanthorpe Qld and Tenterfield NSW.)

Can I buy a ticket at the Muster Gates?

YES.  Ticket purchases are available at the gate of the Muster.

Can I buy a one day ticket?

Yes.  There are both one-day and two-day ticket options.

Are pensioner or concession tickets available?

No, we only have two standard ticket prices - Adult and Child

Are the camp sites designated or are they first in first served?

The policy is first come, first served basis. Marshals will be on site to direct you to your camp site when you arrive. Please note that if you would like to camp next to your friends, you need to arrive at the same time. Sites will not be kept vacant for people who have not yet arrived.

Is there accommodation on the grounds of the event?

NO.  Camping sites  at the Mountview Music Muster are NOW FULL.  Please view our Links page for Accomodation options.

Where is the camping area located and how far is it from the stage?

The camping area is located across the road from where the muster is held.  It’s about a 4 minute walk.  Please note you cannot view the stage from the camping area.

Are Fires permitted at the Campsite?

No fires are permitted as there is a total fire ban in all areas of the site.

Is there camping on site at the Mountview Music Muster?

NO.  Camping sites  at the Mountview Music Muster are NOW FULL.  Please view our Links page for Accomodation options.

Will there be toilet facilities?

Yes there will be toilet facilities at the event and in the camping area for campers use.

Will there be alcohol allowed in the camping area?

The camping area is an alcohol-free zone.

What are the rules with alcohol?

No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the event.  Mountview Music Muster is a licensed premise and we are governed by the conditions of our Liquor License. Alcohol may be purchased at the event so please ensure you bring your ID.  Bag checks will be conducted by Security upon your entry.  Mountview Music Muster promotes drinking responsibly.  Drunk or disorderly behaviour may result in your eviction from the event and there will be no refunds.

Can you bring food to the festival?

No, a variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase. 

Will EFTPOS machine by available at the Muster?

Yes, but may be limited.  Eftpos will be available for any gate ticket sales and Bar sales.  No cash out facility available.

What happens if it rains?

Mountview Music Muster’s policy is to play, rain or shine. Ponchos will be available for purchase.

Are umbrellas allowed at the Muster?


Will pass-outs be allowed?

Yes, there will be pass-outs.

Are prams permitted?

Prams are permitted in the camping area but not at the Muster. Due to the Musters sound amplification, all children should wear ear protection.

Is there ample car parking for disabled patrons?

Yes, if you require a disability accessible spot, please contact us.

Please note as this an outdoor event and camping does not have sealed roads, if the ticketholder is in a wheelchair they should bring their off road model (if possible).Back to top

Is smoking permitted at the Muster?

There will be designated smoke areas, other than that smoking is prohibited.

Is there any discounted price for group bookings?

No, unfortunately there are no group ticket discounts available.

Is there seating is available on the Muster?

No, you must bring your own chair or picnic blanket. 

Is the Muster a licensed event?

Yes, the Muster is a fully licensed event and alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase (including spirits). All ticket holders will be issued with a coloured wristband.  Underage wristbands will be clearly identified as part of our policy; this is how we will determine whether or not you are sold alcohol.  If the bar person is still not convinced even with the correct coloured wrist band, it will be their right and duty to still ask for proof of age ID.

Are video camera’s allowed?

Video cameras, I Pad’s and other recording equipment are not permitted under any circumstances.

Am I allowed to bring an esky with food or drinks into the Muster?

No, strictly no BYO Food or Beverage (including water) is to be brought onsite; this will be enforced by security at entry gates. Free drinking water will be available at the onsite bars. Bottle water will be for sale.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed into the event or the camping area (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police/emergency service dogs)

Where is First Aid Located?

First Aid will be located on site please refer to Mud Map on arrival.

Where are the Fire Services located?

Members from the fire services will have a presence on site during the muster.  It is important that all patrons cooperate with Fire Services.
