Seleen McAlister is… worth the wait
"Follow your heart, follow your dreams, never give up" –Seleen’s life mantra
It’s been a mammoth 12 months for 2013 Toyota Star Maker Finalist Seleen McAlister - appearing across the country at festivals and gigs non-stop.
She performed between Troy Cassar-Daley and Lee Kernaghan at this year’s Urban Country Music Festival, Mud, Bulls and Music as well as last year’s main stage at
Optus Gympie Music Muster.
Her name is spreading like wildfire as her infectious stage presence becomes well-known to audiences and festival
organisers. Seleen launches her new album in July with songs written with Drew McAlister from ARIA-nominated outfit, McAlister Kemp, Mike Carr, CMC nominated artist Doug Bruce and a Don Schiltz (The Gambler) song.
Seleen McAlister is establishing herself successfully as one of country music’s hottest singer/songwriters.
A committed performer, Seleen has a dedicated round of gigs that sees her on stage on average four nights a week at pubs, clubs and private functions around South-East Queensland. Her shows have a loyal following, with more joining her fan base each week. Through these performances, Seleen has personally sold more than 1000 units of
her EP over the past two months to the end of October. The EP is also available through iTunes. Her powerful stage presence, winning audience interaction and engaging songs see her merchandise in demand wherever she performs.
“Performing for me is a joy, I love to see an audience enjoying itself; there’s not a better feeling!” – Seleen McAlister
